A Short Lesson about the “History” Channel

2 min read

The History Channel does not show genuine history. Instead, it shows history, like how someone sighted an alien spacecraft or how the world is about to end. When founded, the History Channel showed history but was less popular. It limped along, barely not going into bankruptcy, when it found something that people did like. That thing was anything but the facts. People prefer to avoid hearing the actual facts. Instead, they want to listen to myths and legends with no basis in facts.

The History Channel makes documentaries on natural history. Still, they often need to be more concise, or they could be more accurate. Why do people not like facts? I do not know, but could it change its logo for all of our sakes? They technically could, but that would decrease its profits considerably. This is because their logo and name are now clickbait. People click on it, thinking they will learn history, and then watch the videos they believe are facts. They then return with that “knowledge” and tell it to others as facts. Then the other people go to the History Channel, and the process starts again.

The History Channel cannot be repaired. Even if it could, it would severely damage their profits. So, I kindly ask everyone reading this to not use the History Channel for any research and instead use the websites below for your research.
