This is the 50th post on this site! On this special post, I will provide a timeline of the site’s history from its very beginning to today. I will also provide a posting schedule since the usual posting schedule will go haywire during the summer. I will also fix any blurry images and all of the many typos on this site. Enjoy! (Any links are in black. Also, I couldn’t figure out how to make the dates appear in dark mode, so just read this post in light mode.)
A Short History of this Site
November 2010
benshivar.com is Born
The domain name benshivar.com was seemingly created out of nothing and sat for a while, waiting for some editing.
2021 – 2022
Finally, some editing!
With encouragement from Nate (Ben’s dad at nateshivar.com), benshivar.com is edited with raw code, and Ben Shivar attempts to compile a list of all inventions ever made by humanity.
August 2022 – October 2022
A Great Inspiration
Ben takes a coding class taught by Dr. Dawson, where they create a website and learn how to code it. Ben already has a site, and he wants to improve it.
November 2022
Ben Discovers WordPress
Ben discovers WordPress, a website-building tool that allows users to easily build websites without dealing with raw code.
